Here is a public archive of ACRO Contest Data Files from around two hundred CIVA and other aerobatic competitions since 2008, when the software was first used un the UK. You can download any of them into your own computer and run them in ACRO to review progress etc. at the event. These are plain data files, and do not include any photos or sequence images that may have been recorded at the same time; some photos are available as zip files here, other files remain in the scorers personal computer.

Zipped collections of ACRO photos are also available from some international events. These images are all in ACRO's 660x933 pixel jpg format and can be used when running the relevant event data files. Note that ACRO includes provides access to an online photo archive containing 'preferred' personal photos from many events, and you can upload your photos to the same resource for others to access.
 
 To obtain an ACRO v5 contest data file with the .ctx suffix from the green tables:
With ACRO v5 running, on the File menu click "Open a contest file from the Online Archive" and files from the green table below will be listed.  Select the file you want, click to download and it will be opened for you in ACRO. Note that some filenames may not be exactly as shown below.
This is the ONLY way to retrieve a v5 filename contest data file into ACRO - you cannot download them directly from this online resource.

Select the one you want to run and it will be downloaded, translated to v5 standard and opened for you in ACRO.

To retrieve the file Right-Click the link and from the menu select 'Save Target As...' or 'Save Link As...', then specify your ACRO contest file folder; this is normally c:\aerobatics\data

When you open a .ctf contest file in ACRO v5 it will automatically be translated into a v5 standard  file and run with that format
